Shannan Bowen is a product and audience development strategist who has worked in local news most of her career. She leads the NC Local News Workshop, an organization that supports local news in North Carolina. Shannan also is a co-founder of the News Product Alliance, a community of support and practice for news product professionals and product thinkers around the world. She serves as a coach on strategies for revenue, audience development, product strategy, and content.
